Employment & Transition Services
This department consists of two programs, Hope Academy and Employment Services.
Hope Academy (open to students ages 16-22)
This school program provides students ages 16-22 the opportunity to learn about the world of work while also increasing their independent living skills. Throughout the year we will focus on everything from applying for a job to planning and cooking a meal. Students also have opportunities to participate in onsite and off-site work exposure opportunities. When they are ready, we can also refer them for more in-depth work opportunities which are provided by our employment services team.
This program typically aligns closely with the Duval County Public Schools calendar.
The tuition for this program is $15,250. Financial assistance may be available through programs such as Family Empowerment Scholarship.
Hope Academy began this year’s programming on Monday, August 14, 2023.
